The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has emphasized that their agency’s primary goal is to ensure road safety, and not revenue generation. According to Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO) Bisi Kazeem, their mandate is to make highways safe for all road users across Nigeria, and they are not focused on generating revenue.
Kazeem clarified this in response to reports that the FRSC has prioritized revenue generation over ensuring road safety.

Kazeem stated that as a government agency, their primary objective is to protect lives and properties, and the eradication of Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) is their primary goal. He further urged the public to register their vehicles properly to enhance their security.
