Cher, the 76-year-old pop star, and Alexander Edwards, the 37-year-old music executive and rapper, have split up after six months of dating, according to sources close to the couple. The pair were first linked in November 2021 when they were spotted out at dinner with Tyga in Los Angeles, and Cher confirmed their relationship days later by tweeting a photo of Edwards captioned, “Alexander”.

Although the couple never confirmed that they were engaged, a massive diamond ring she was gifted around Christmas sparked rumours. Insiders said the two played into the speculation that it was an engagement ring, but the relationship ended weeks ago.
The reason behind the split is unclear, and it is unknown who first decided to end it. Cher was previously linked to Tim Medvetz, a former Hells Angels biker, and was famously married to Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman. Edwards, on the other hand, dated Amber Rose, with whom he shares a son.
