NDLEA seizes illicit drugs disguised in imported car and food items

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has seized 126 parcels of Canadian Loud, a synthetic strain of cannabis at Tincan port in Lagos. The drugs, weighing 63kg, were found hidden in a used Toyota Corolla car imported from Canada. The car was among five vehicles in a container marked TLLU 4840762.

In another incident, the NDLEA thwarted an attempt to export 900 grams of Loud to Kenya. The drugs were found hidden in the sides of a travelling bag containing food items.
