Mike Adenuga jnr celebrated by Buhari, Osinbajo, Macron, and others on his 70th birthday


President Muhammadu Buhari, alongside other prominent personalities such as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, President of France Emmanuel Macron, former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama, former President of Benin Republic Dr. Thomas Boni Yayi, President of the African Development Bank Group Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, and the Vice President of Liberia Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor, has congratulated entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr. on his 70th birthday, which occurred on April 29, 2023.

President Buhari praised Adenuga’s visionary leadership and his impact on Nigeria’s economy through his investments in various sectors, including oil and gas, telecoms, real estate, banking, construction, and hospitality.

He also commended Adenuga’s dedication to nation-building, his humility, and his philanthropy, which have earned him numerous national and global awards, including three national honours of OON, CON, and GCON. Vice President Osinbajo also commended Adenuga’s contributions to Nigeria’s socio-economic development and described him as a “true national asset” and an inspiration to young people in Nigeria and across Africa.

In a congratulatory message to Adenuga, President Macron acknowledged the businessman’s tremendous contribution to strengthening the relationship between Nigeria and France and his success as an entrepreneur, which has inspired French entrepreneurs.

Macron also expressed his appreciation for the Mike Adenuga Foundation, which has helped many Nigerians and other African citizens achieve social and economic independence, and the Mike Adenuga Centre – Alliance Francaise, which has become a significant cultural landmark in Lagos and a valuable asset for cultural visibility and dialogue between France and Nigeria.

Former President Mahama congratulated Adenuga, acknowledging his contribution to human capacity development in Africa through his investments in various sectors such as telecoms, oil and gas, and real estate, among others.

Similarly, Dr. Adesina praised Adenuga’s business acumen and philanthropic activities, which have impacted many lives in Africa, showcasing the continent as a great investment destination. Governor Abiodun of Ogun State and Vice President Howard Taylor of Liberia also congratulated Adenuga on his 70th birthday, highlighting his accomplishments and contribution to humanity and the African continent.
