The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has called for stronger inter-state policing to curb cross-border criminal activities. At a security meeting with top police officers in the state, Adeleke praised the performances of the police and other security agencies and called for continuous intelligence sharing among the security commands to stop criminals in their tracks before they launch cross-border raids.
He highlighted that inter-state criminal attacks have become a menace that requires urgent attention.
