Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State in Nigeria, has said that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), anointed him and predicted that he would become a governor.
Speaking at the inauguration of a medical centre donated to the Ifewara community by a non-governmental organisation (NGO) Jennifer Etuh Foundation on Wednesday, Adeleke disclosed that he had faith in Adeboye’s prophecy, adding that when it did not immediately come to fruition, he was not discouraged.
Adeleke pledged to govern the state with the fear of God and that his administration’s free medical and surgical initiative would align with the provision of the health facility by the foundation.
Adeboye described the late Jennifer Etuh as ‘one of my favourite daughters,’ saying that before her death, she wrote that six hospitals should be built in her honour, one of which was located in Ifewara, his hometown.
