Enugu state Governorship aspirant of APGA found dead

The Enugu State governorship aspirant for the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the 2023 general election, Chief Dons Udeh, who had been reported missing on Saturday, was found dead on Wednesday in the 9th Mile area of the state, with suspicion of kidnap arising after his phone was discovered by the wall of the Ogui Police Station on Sunday, according to a family source.

Udeh was a former Enugu State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, and his defection to APGA was in pursuit of his ambition to become the governor of Enugu State. The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident but gave no details. Udeh was an engineer and his death has elicited shock and condolences from his supporters and colleagues. The cause and circumstances surrounding his death are currently unknown.
