Xavi Hernandez, the Barcelona manager, praised goalkeeper Marc Andre ter-Stegen as the best goalkeeper in the world following their 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid in LaLiga on Sunday, which placed Barca 11 points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid with eight games remaining.

Ter Stegen also tied Claudio Bravo’s record of 23 clean sheets in a single LaLiga season. Xavi stated after the game that Ter-Stegen is among the top three goalkeepers in the world and is the best because of Barcelona’s playing style.
