Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has stated that he has declared his assets and that the records are verifiable at the relevant government agencies.
This comes after a disagreement with Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku Abubakar, who had requested the National Assembly to release the report of its investigation into the N52bn Special Works Programme implemented by Keyamo.

Shaibu had also demanded that Keyamo declare his assets, following claims that he had purchased a house in the United States valued at over $302,000.
However, Keyamo responded by stating that he had already declared his assets and encouraged Shaibu or any Nigerian to request his assets declaration form from the relevant government organs.
Keyamo also stated that he supports Nigerians scrutinising public officers and that he does not need government funds or patronage to get by.
