Bola Tinubu, the supposed “president-elect” of Nigeria, has formed a 13-man Presidential Inauguration Committee tasked with organizing a week-long event to inaugurate him and his “VP-elect,” Kashim Shettima, as the 5th Executive President and Vice-President of Nigeria.

The Committee will be coordinated by Abubakar Kyari, the current National Deputy Chairman (North) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), with Hon. Stella Okotete serving as the head of Secretariat, Planning and Monitoring, and Makinde Araoye serving as the Director of venue, parades, and swearing-in for the week-long event.

The Committee will also include Bayo Onanuga as Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Betta Edu coordinating the medical team, and Col. Abdulazeez Yar’Adua, a retired military chief and younger brother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, as the head of security and ceremonial parade for the inauguration.

Other members of the committee include Samira Saddik, Abuh Andrew Abuh, Dr. Danladi Bako, Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir, Donald Wokoma, Bishop Adegbite, and Imam Faud. Tinubu initially submitted the names of Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State and former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Wale Edun, to be included as his representatives in the Transition Committee.
