In Ogijo, Ogun State, Nigeria, a 24-year-old man named Moses Joseph, believed to be killed by suspected cultists, was shot dead in front of his house on Tuesday around 8 pm, and the police have launched an investigation. Moses, who hails from Benue State, was in the Igode community when the attackers opened fire on him.
His sister-in-law, Morenikeji, said she heard the gunshot and found Moses in a pool of his blood, adding that they rushed him to the hospital, but he was already dead.

The deceased’s elder brother, Patrick, described his brother’s death as a dream, saying he cannot believe that his brother is gone just like that. The police confirmed the killing and stated that the matter is related to some cult activities, adding that they have commenced an investigation into the case.
