Delta police arrest 24-year-old passenger with two pistols during routine stop-and-search

Operatives of Dragon 18 & 29 arrested a 24-year-old passenger, Joseph Vincent, during a routine stop-and-search duty in Delta State, Nigeria. Two locally fabricated pistols were recovered from him as he attempted to escape after jumping down from a tricycle being driven by one Isreal Sibito.

The incident occurred along Jeremi/Iwhrekan road in Ughelli South Local Government Area. Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a statement, emphasizing that investigation is ongoing.

DSP Edafe also urged the public to exercise patience during police stop-and-search operations, as they are conducted for the collective good and to ensure a safer Delta for all.
