Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged to focus on the agricultural and mining sectors to spur economic growth in the state of Zamfara if elected in the upcoming election. He believes that developing these sectors will lead to more job opportunities and help reduce crime rates in the state.

Tinubu made these comments during a campaign rally in Gusau, the state capital, and also expressed his gratitude for the support the party has received from the people of Zamfara since the return of democracy in 1999. He acknowledged the state’s abundant human and natural resources that, with proper development, could benefit both the state and the country as a whole.
