Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State recently expressed confidence in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party’s chances of winning the 2023 elections. He made this statement during a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, where he also praised the politicians in his state for conducting themselves in a peaceful manner.
He also emphasized that he would not prevent anyone from using any venues as had been witnessed in other areas, stating that “that era is over.” He also expressed gratitude to the President for his support towards the recent oil discovery in Nasarawa and confirmed that exploration activities would begin soon.
It should be noted that the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) had announced the discovery of oil in Nasarawa state as part of their ongoing oil exploration activities in the country’s inland basins.
